Tech giant, Microsoft has unveiled its first African Development Centre (ADC) in Lagos.
It should be recalled that in 2019, the global corporation had announced its desire to recruit exceptional engineering talent and provide the opportunity to work on the latest technologies suitable for Kenya, Nigeria and the rest of the world.
The centre, a $100 million investment will therefore recruit African software engineering solutions to create a modern intelligent edge and cloud computing curriculum unique to Africa through the ADC.
The hub, which was part of the $1 trillion market capitalization, was initiated to be commissioned in both Lagos, Nigeria and Nairobi, Kenya to be the first opened in Africa for the continent’s growing importance as a global hub for talent.
