The Amazon founder and girlfriend Lauren Sanchez bought 14 acres of land in Maui, Hawaii over the past summer. Estimates for the quiet deal for the land, which includes a main and guesthouse, are at $78 million.
Kanye West
Deal amount: $57.3 million (Purchase)
The Donda rapper purchased a home in Malibu for $57.3 million back in September, said to match his minimalism taste. The 4-bedroom space is built entirely of concrete and glass by designer Tadao Ando.
The Weeknd
Deal amount: $70 million (Purchase)
The music celebrity purchased a $70 million mansion in Bel Air in 2021, featuring a ton of amenities. The home measures approximately 33,000 square feet and packs quite a lot within that space. A gym, movie theater, music studio, sauna, hammam, and indoor pool are among the many offerings inside the house, while the exterior boasts a sports court, an infinity pool with a waterfall, and a dramatic split staircase leading from the upper patio to the lawn. All of these amenities sit on a 1.6 acre lot which overlooks the Bel Air Country Club.
Calvin Klein
Deal amount: $85 million
The fashion icon sold his 8.4 acre East Hampton 19th-century property for $85 million over the summer last year, earning $81.4 million more than what he paid for it in 1987. The space comes with a house designed by the Grey Gardens architect, a boathouse and a pool, as well as a stretch of land. Built in 1891, the historic house sits on 8.4 acres and boasts five bedrooms and eight bathrooms across 10,176 square feet. Klein bought the dwelling for $3.6 million in 1987, later on adding a pool and a boathouse.
